I was first introduced to Yoga through surfing, my other big passion, in my late teens. With a background in swimming and triathlon, the Yoga asana practice was far from my usual movement patterns and challenging for me in many ways. But something about it captured me from the very beginning and over time Yoga started to influence all aspects of my life.
When I moved to Berlin in 2016, I started my regular practice of Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga with my teacher Susen Pijur at Yoga School Berlin. Susen’s practice and her approach to Ashtanga Yoga continue to be a big inspiration for me and I’m forever grateful to her for sharing her knowledge and giving me the opportunity to start teaching at her studio. In 2021 I started practicing Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga with my teachers Carola della Croce and Matias de Biedma which has further deepened my practice and understanding of Yoga. A year later I did my first training with Simon Park. Simon’s ability to read the body is truly impressive and his therapeutic approach to the practice opened new horizons for me in my teaching as well as my practice. I am very grateful for the opportunity to learn and study yoga and thank all my teachers for their guidance and support.
My teaching is influenced immensely by my own practice which today consists of a mix between my regular Mysore Style Ashtanga practice and more intuitive Vinyasa Yoga, as well as Pranayama, Meditation and an ongoing dedication to studying different layers of the practice. I love the creativity and intuitiveness of vinyasa yoga and the clarity and discipline of ashtanga yoga and I'm grateful to be able to share my passion for both with my students.
After completing my first Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Works in 2016, I started teaching irregularly for a while before I started with regular studio classes at Yoga School Berlin in 2019. Since then, I gradually increased the amount of classes I taught, including Coportate and Private Yoga Classes as well as other Berlin studios such as Original Feelings Studio and PRACTICE. In 2020 I started my Online Teaching with the launch of my YouTube Channel, followed by regular Zoom Live Classes via my Eversports Online Studio. I have done a 300h Advanced Teacher Training with my teacher Simon Park and since then continue to assist and co-teach with him on Teacher Trainings around Europe. In 2023 I co-led the first 200h Yoga Teacher Training at Original Feelings Studio alongside Brooklyn Reardon and Simon Park and I will continue to be one of the lead-teachers of the training in 2024.
